What’s your ideal kink relationship? Is that question important? Would it really define what you search for? Should it? Probably not.

Some things are so precious and they can be so hard to obtain, that it doesn’t make sense to limit ourselves to that ideal. That’s true for both my jobhunt and my search for a boyfriend. Finding a good and lasting connection with a real Master is no different. If you're very submissive, you may really want a Master. And since good Masters are hard to find, maybe expectations should be more realistic. And if you're more cynical, you might even say that beggars (particularly faggots) can't be choosers. You wouldn’t be wrong.

Of course I'm exaggerating, at least a little. Despite what some Masters think, slaves can and should choose their Masters. It's tempting to adopt a “total cumdump” mindset, but creating a long-term relationship with a Master requires much more trust and commitment than a casual sexual encounter requires. Furthermore, a sub must exercise discretion when choosing who he can trust and to what extent. His life and well-being depend on it.
